The day after we moved to Taupo, we drove to Hamilton to go through the temple
with the Reuben and Nara. It was a day we have waited for since we met them back in March!
We drove home that night and drove back to Hamilton two days later for their temple sealing.
Hamilton is only an hour and a half from us now....and it's a GOOD road!
It was a piece of cake compared to driving from Gizzy!!
This is Reuben and Nara heading into the temple!
It was raining...it always rains in Hamilton! I guess that's why it's so green and pretty!!
The sealing was beautiful. Nara's mother was also sealed to Nara's deceased father at the same time, which made the day even more special! Nara and her brother, Ezra were sealed to their parents.
It was a wonderful day! A day their families have been waiting for, for a long time!
We are so happy to be a part of it!
Reuben, Nara and the boys
Whai and Hiku
A HAPPY DAY!
Our family away from home....
Ezra, Dave (Reuben's dad), Christine (Nara's mom), Nara, Reuben, Jill (Reuben's mom) Lonne, Me, Hiku and Whai
Ezra, Christine, and Nara
Oh, we LOVE this family!
It was such a special day for us! We felt like it was our own kids going through the temple!
I almost felt like we could just go home now because I feel like we accomplished what
we were sent here to do! But there must be more work for us in Taupo!
So....we are ready to get to work!!
Elder and Sister Funk are the directors of the Temple Visitor's Center.
We stay with them every time we go to Hamilton for meetings.
They will be getting released next week...we are going to miss them!
We've had lots of fun with them! But they promise they are going to come stay
with us in October....Elder Funk participates in the Senior Games in St. George.
We can't wait to go watch him!!! Can't wait to see them again!
