We had a great trip to Arkansas last week-end to watch Chase (Leavitt) our nephew play baseball. He plays for the Arkansas Razorbacks (Hogs). It was
COLD, but so much fun! We love baseball!! We met Mitch and Robyn there. They drove down from Iowa. They gave us some great news....they are going to have a baby in October!!! We are so excited! Their baby and Lexie and Devan's baby will be two weeks apart! We all had a great time together, eating out, and watching lots of baseball!! The Razorback's stadium was incredible! It's just one notch under a pro stadium. It was beautiful! Chase took us on a tour of the clubhouse, his locker, etc...He even gave Mitch one of his baseball gloves. The only downer of the whole trip was that Chase pulled his hamstring the game before we got there, so we didn't get to see him play much. He only got in one game to hit a guy into home to tie the game. They were playing a 3 game series with the Florida Gators, and the Hogs swept the series. Chase has been playing very well, he was named the SEC player of the week last week, and his batting average is right at the top of the league. We sure hope he gets drafted this year!! We are so proud of him for being such a good example to his teammates and coaches.
EVERYONE in Fayetteville, Arkansas knows Chase Leavitt! They know he's a Mormon, and they know he put his baseball career on hold for two years to serve a mission for his church. He gets interviewed constantly, and has tons of articles about him. His mission is mentioned every time. He is definitely a star in Fayetteville, and in all of our eyes, too!!

yeah, another grandbaby!!! congrats congrats to mitch and robyn...that is so exciting! how fun that her and lexie are going to be so close!
