Not that I'm counting or anything, but I realized yesterday, that we have attended 3 fast and testimony meetings here in Gisborne. Do you know what that means??? We have 15 more!
This is a picture of one of the families we taught this week. Mahe, Katherine and their kids. They invited us back on Friday for a barbecue and they invited their cousins to sit in on the lesson. They all had questions about the church and the Book of Mormon. We had a great discussion, and they all came to church with us on Sunday. There were nine of them. It was awesome. They invited us to come back to their house on Friday. We have had to do a lot of studying this week for this one!!! The cousin is a daughter of a minister. Mahe is a hunter, and he is Tongan. He and Lonne hit it off pretty good. He wants to take Lonne hunting for Red Stag. Lon is pretty excited about that!

Frances took me out to the Lardelli's farm to pick "Fejoas", a fruit we had never heard of or tasted. It looks like a lime, but has a flavor unlike anything I have ever tasted. They also had yummy grapes from their vineyards, and mandarins from their citrus grove. The Fejoa is the green little fruit on the table by the grapes. I went home with a whole LOAD of yummy fruit!!

Looks like you guys ended up having a fun P-Day!! You guys just make great friends everywhere you go!! That fruit looks so yummy! Too bad that Dad and Brother Burt didn't catch any fish :( I bet dad was so disappointed!! So crazy that it is turning into fall over there. That bush looks pretty! Good luck with Mahe and Katherine! That is soooo neat that they all came to church with you! EXCITING!! Love you!

p.s. They did a story on missionaries and the MTC in between conference sessions and one was on a Sister Frost that just went to Auckland. Darling girl ... maybe you will get to work with the sister missionaries one day so you won't be out numbered with all those Elders - ha ha
Love your posts and emails. Keep up the good work. Love all the pictures. Can't believe you are going into Fall. The weather has been cold, hot, here. Who knows what it's going to be like from day to day. Just can't wait for it to stay warm. You guys are doing so great and we are all so proud of you! Love and miss you tons!!!

Haha! Typical dad... comes home with the same shiny hook he left with! Not a bite mark on it! That guy needs to learn how to fish! haha I want to go fly fishing over there so bad!!! Keep the pictures coming, we love to see who you are working with and all the cool places you get to see. Well we love you and hope you are having fun!
