Christmas will have a few differences for us this year.
Starting with our tree....
At home we have a 14 foot tree.
It takes us HOURS to decorate it.
Here in Gizzy, we have a 14 inch tree!
It took us about 10 minutes to decorate!
Love it!!
We usually have presents wrapped under our tree.
Seeing Tania and Joe-dee get baptized is the best present of all!
We have been teaching Tania for a little over a month.
We knew from our first lesson that she would be baptized!
She is such a sweet-heart!
She's looking for a better life for herself and her daughters.
Her little girl, Joe-dee turned eight last week, and decided to be baptized with her mom.
Today was a happy happy day!
We're usually surrounded by our family and friends at Christmas...
This year, we will be surrounded by the Elders and our new friends!
L to R- Lonne, Nancy, Tania, Elder Petty, Elder Lui, and Joe-dee
L to R- Lonne, Tania, Elder Petty, Elder Lui, Joe-dee, and Nevada
Elder Petty, Elder Lui, and Nevada
Tania with her girls
(The two older girls live in Australia with their dad....they are here for the holidays)
Nevada with his parents
(We didn't teach Nevada...the Elders taught him)
It's a little different to see people swimming for the ward Christmas party!
I am used to freezing on the hay wagon while we go caroling!
1st Ward Christmas Party at the Pools
It's a little different to have a barbecue for Christmas....but it sure is FUN!
The fresh picked strawberries are the BEST!! Mmmmmm!
Christmas may be a little different this year,
But different is good:)
But different is good:)

Dearest Aunt Nancy!
I look at your blog all the time. How selfish of me to keep myself updated but not send my love. It is one of my favorite things to do- look at your blog- and it makes me so happy to see all the happiness you bring the people there! I love you guys so much and always tell people about my aunt and uncle serving in New Zealand! They all know I admire you a lot:) Glad to see you're keeping the holidays merry and bright!
Love
