We decided to take a little trip to the mountains while Mitch and Robyn were here. We thought about going to Island Park, but we just didn't want to drive clear up there....so Lonne suggested Panguitch Lake. He said we could fish and go four wheeling and he told us it was almost as pretty as Island Park. We were all skeptical at first. It just didn't seem like a very fun place to go, but when we found the cabin to rent, we decided we would make it fun. Above, is the"on-line" picture of the cabin we rented. It was perfect! We had such a great time!! It was absolutely beautiful up there! The weather never got above 75 degrees, it rained a little bit every day, and the mountains were as pretty as anywhere I have ever been! We were all pleasantly surprised!! Between fishing, four-wheeling, eating good food, and playing games, everyone was happy 100% of the time! We told the kids, ahead of time, to plan some activities and WOW, they did such a great job! Mitch and Robyn brought all the stuff for lots of different challenges for the game "Minute to Win It" (like on TV). It was so much fun! Lexie and Devan also did challenge games but we did them in couples. The winners got "Orange Peel" smoothie gift certificates! Mitch and Robyn were determined to win...and they did! Gretchen and Dave brought all sorts of games and stuff to keep the kids entertained so we adults could play adult games!! We played "Scum" with cards every night! We even had Lonne playing and he loved it...especially when he was the "President"! We are all VERY competitive, so the games and challenges got pretty intense! We stayed for three nights and three days. When it was time to pack up to leave, we were all sad! We decided this has got to be an annual get-a-way for our family. We started a new tradition! Can't wait to go back!!
Grandma and Grandpa with the grandkids
Going on a four wheeler ride It was beautiful! I had no idea it was soooo beautiful up above Panguitch Lake! It looked like Colorado! Who knew??
The rest of the family on their four wheelers...Lonne and I definitely had the smoothest ride!
The babies got tired and zonked out on the ride back to the cabin! So sweet! Grandpa LOVED it!
Looking out over Yankee Meadow
The Family (minus Devan, Lexie and Ty)
Lonne and Me ( I look like a boy in every picture with my
hair pulled back in a pony tail and a hat!) Yikes!

Grandpa teaching Cam how to shoot the pistol at a target...Cam loves anything to do with guns and hunting! He was in his glory!
Devan taking his turn..
LOL Take a look at where Gretchen is holding the gun and how she is looking in the scope! Hmmmm I think she needs a few more lessons! We laughed hard, but once she got the position right, she was a good shot!
And I look just as bad!! I don't think the girls in our family have had enough practice at target shooting! But I will say...I hit the can almost every time! My stance was just a little crazy!
FUN AND GAMES

My family LOVES it up there. Many summer days are spent up there. I have an uncle and aunt who have a cabin up there and they pretty much move up there all summer! Looked like you guys had so much fun. Love it!!!
So fun Nancy! My mom told me all about that cabin so I was excited to see your blog and check it out. That looks like my kind of camping! :)
