Sometimes...we get a little teary eyed, as we realize that our little ones are growing up so fast, and we are missing out, but we know we are doing what we are suppose to be doing right now!!
Another big SHOUT OUT for technology!! We are soooooooooooo very thankful for i-phones with cameras, skype, Vonage, and e-mail!!! Our land line phone is hooked through our internet. It is through the company, Vonage. We can talk to anyone in the states and it doesn't cost a dime! We are able to call our kids, and they are able to call us any time! I remember when Mitch was on his mission in Samoa, it would cost us a fortune to call him on Christmas and Mother's Day! This Vonage line is amazing! The time difference is a little tricky, but other than that, it feels like we are talking to the person next door!
Isn't modern technology awesome?????
Here are a few of the pictures we have received in the last few weeks. They make us smile every time we look at them, and they make us realize what we miss the most!!!
This is a picture Lexie took with her phone as she was going through the car wash. Ty is scared to death of the car wash!! Poor little guy! We couldn't quit laughing at this picture! We could just picture Lexie laughing as she was taking it....so mean!!
Little Malia went to the zoo! She loves elephants!
Gretchen and Dave took the kids to Disneyland. We received several pics from them while they were gone! We can't wait to take all the kids to Disneyland when we get home!
Watching Ty jump on Grandma and Grandpa's trampoline makes us happy! Funny how this trampoline was probably the best investment we ever made! All the kids absolutely love it!
We always keep our fingers crossed that no one will get hurt on it!
Why do these sad faces make us smile??
Little Malia likes to play outside and when her mommy made her go inside
(because it is sub zero weather in Iowa) she is NOT happy!
Malia hanging out with the monkeys at the zoo!
I'll have to admit...when we saw this picture, it was a happy/sad moment for us! Lonne was so proud of little Cam for his great pitching! He has been doing great, and when grandpa saw the pictures of his boy pitching in such perfect form....well...let's just say, it was not a good day in NZ! Yes, lots of tears!
Such a big boy! Where had the time gone??? Wasn't he just a baby yesterday?
Oh, sweet little Sadie...we love you so much! Say CHEESE!!
Abbie Dee, you are definitely a princess!
We look at our screen saver on our computer every day...(the picture of our family) and we smile:)
We are SO BLESSED!
And....because we have been given much, we too, must give!

You guys have the cutest family! I bet they all miss you just as much as you miss them. It looks like what you are experiencing is amazing! Keep up the great work and best of luck!
Your family is absolutely DARLING! And I love your family picture at the end. Grey and yellow are my favorite colors! (and will be my wedding colors someday.) You two are in my prayers, along with the other missionaries! ;)
What an awesome post! Your grandkids are adorable, and your family is beautiful! You two are truly blessed!!!
