New Zealand hosted the Rugby World Cup this year...which is a BIG DEAL!
It's kinda like hosting the Olympics in 2002! They did an awesome job from start to finish!
The whole country is INTO Rugby, especially the ALL BLACKS RUGBY TEAM!
The opening ceremonies were amazing, and the All Blacks ended up winning the
World Cup! It was a huge celebration for the whole country!
The manager of our hotel invited us to come out to the foyer for an ALL BLACK party
to watch the final game of the World Cup. I made some guacamole and chips, and we joined
the other people in the hotel for the party! We were the only ones not drinking:)
We are so glad we were able to join in the fun!
We have grown to LOVE Rugby over here! We've learned a lot about the game,
and we LOVE watching it! Can't wait to watch the Snow Canyon Rugby team
when we get home! Rugby is awesome!
